Your first step toward voting
Register, update, or check your voter record.
Tennessee voters can register online, submit a paper application, or work directly with the Sevier County Election Commission.
Registration deadlines apply before every election. Complete your application early and use the official voter lookup to confirm it was processed.
Choose the Option You Need
Register Online
Use Tennessee’s secure online voter-registration system to submit a new registration or an eligible update.
Use a Paper Form
Download, complete, and sign the official Tennessee application. Mail it or deliver it to your county election commission.
Check Your Status
Verify your registration, address, voting districts, and assigned Election Day polling place.
Updating Your Registration
Update your record after moving, changing your mailing address, or changing your name. Tennessee notes that a name change must be submitted on a signed form by mail or directly to the local election commission.
Restoring Voting Rights
Eligibility after a felony conviction depends on the conviction date and other legal requirements. Use the current Tennessee guide rather than relying on general advice.
