Information You Choose to Share
We receive information you choose to provide when you email us, respond to a volunteer or candidate-interest form, submit an event, sign up for updates, or otherwise contact the party. Depending on the activity, this may include your name, email address, phone number, address, availability, interests, and the content of your message.
Some forms linked from this website are hosted by Google Forms. The form itself is processed by Google, and the Sevier County Democratic Party receives the responses you submit. Google’s handling of information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Donations
When you select a donation link, you are directed to ActBlue, an independent service that processes the contribution. Payment-card and bank information is entered on ActBlue’s website and is not collected by this website. ActBlue may provide us with donor and contribution information as permitted or required for campaign-finance reporting and party operations. Review the ActBlue Privacy Policy for details.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider and WordPress may create technical logs when you visit. These records can include information such as the page requested, date and time, referring page, browser or device type, and Internet Protocol address. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.

How We Use and Share Information
We use information to respond to requests, coordinate volunteers and events, communicate party news, process and document contributions, maintain website security, comply with legal obligations, and support the work of the Sevier County Democratic Party.
We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate these activities, with Democratic Party partners when needed to fulfill your request or coordinate party work, or when disclosure is required by law. We do not use information submitted directly to us for commercial sale.
Retention and Your Choices
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for party operations, recordkeeping, security, and legal obligations. Google, ActBlue, our hosting provider, and other service providers retain information according to their own policies.
You may ask us to correct or delete information you submitted directly to us, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements. You may also unsubscribe from email updates by using the link in the message or contacting us.
Children’s Privacy
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through this website.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this notice as our website, services, or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
